Bird is covered in shiny black seaweed, black onion seed, yellow strawflower, brown flaxseed, blue statice and hot pink bougainvillea

Orange fluff from the middle of bird of paradise flowers covers most of this bird along with grey moss and black seaweed
Scooter is covered in raw cotton, shredded redwood bark and ground-up sycamore leaves
The baby birds are covered in grey moss and the eggs are covered in rice

Each white rose is in a vial of water
Many vials are personalized by people who donated money for the float
White tulips are used to simulate crocus blooming in the snow

The children's shoes are decorated with poppy seeds and the sled with birch bark and red millet seeds
The bottom deck of the float is covered in thousands of vials of white roses and carnations
